The Year 2009 in Review

The year 2009 has certainly been a surprising year from beginning to end. For some the year has been good, for others the year has been bad. Still, for others it has been very sad.  In the news industry the year has held one surprise after another with many historical firsts. The year started with more than the average amount of news, which is something unusual for Pierre Part, Louisiana and some sections of the United States.

Amidst the painted hair and made up faces filling the small town cafe lies handpainted signs made to look like nostagia and there standing in the midst of it all are three figures that are fast becoming known as the leg -0- three from Baton Rouge. Karen St. Germain, Candy-blonde colored hair, showing no sign of gray, on top of a pretty smile advised of the transparency that the Jindal Adminstration has coated to hide what; Joe Harrison who always tells of a meeting coming up but never knows the date bascially said that the Superintendent of Education basically doesn't know what he's doing; and the lame-duck Senator from Morgan City had bitter feelings about Jindal allocating most of a grant from BP to New Orleans and not his parish. .....
