Maurice Joseph, "Moe", St. Germaine, Sr.

A resident and Native of Plattenville, Louisiana, He was born Febuary 05, 1924. He died on Wednesday October 14, 2009. He was 85-years old. He was a retired United States Army Veteran with more than 35- years of service to his Country. Visiting was at Landry's Funeral Home in Napoleonville on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 6PM until 9PM; then on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 8AM until 9:30AM. He received a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville, Louisiana on Monday with interment at 10:00AM. in the church cemetery. Mr. Maurice is survied by his wife, Olive R. St. Germaine; Children: Maurice St. Germaine, Jr.; and Enola and husband Frank Bialonick of Columbus, Georgia.; Margot and husband PatrickRodgers of Las Vegas, Nevada; Norma and husband Michael Cazenave, and Judy and husband Robert Landry of Plattenville;Ruby and husband Jerry Ball, and Floyd Sr. and wife Jackie Russo, all of Gonzales; numberous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers - Norman "Cadi" St. Germaine, of Napoleonville, La.; C.J. "Caso" St. Germaine of Houma; J.B. "Chick" St. Germaine of Harahan, and Homer "Sarge" St. Germaine of Napoleonville; and sisters, Louis S. Baldwin and Alverda S. Hernandez, both of Napoleonville. Mr. Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, Joe St. Germaine and Enola R. St. Germaine; Brotehrs, Lynn, Louis and John St. Germaine,; and sisters, Therese S. Falterman and Ouida S. LeBlanc.
